Garage Fire Draws Multiple Departments in Bonne Terre Wednesday Night

Bonne Terre, MO. (KFMO) - A large garage in Bonne Terre was heavily damaged after a fire broke out shortly before 8 p.m. Wednesday evening.

The fire occurred in the 200 block of North Division Street near Buchanan Street. The Bonne Terre Fire Department responded to the scene, with several neighboring departments providing mutual aid, including Park Hills, Desloge, De Soto Rural, De Soto City, Jefferson R-7, and Terre Du Lac. Officials say the Missouri State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire.

Early indications suggest the blaze was most likely accidental, though the final cause has not yet been determined. No injuries have been reported.
