St. Francois Co., Mo. (KFMO) - Missouri Governor Mike Kehoe has announced a new judicial appointment to the 24th Judicial Circuit.
Todd Smith, of Farmington, has been appointed as Associate Circuit Judge for St. Francois County in the 24th Judicial Circuit. Smith is currently an attorney with Lauber Municipal Law and previously served as an assistant prosecuting attorney for Miller County. Smith earned his Juris Doctor from Drake University Law School, a Master of Laws from the American University Washington College of Law, and a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Missouri–Columbia.
He will fill the vacancy created by the appointment of Judge Joseph Murray III to the circuit bench.
