Habitat for Humanity to Host Annual Food, Wine, and Beverage Tasting Event Friday

Leadington, Mo. (KFMO) - The St. Francois County Habitat for Humanity will hold its 16th Annual Food, Wine, and Beverage Tasting fundraiser this Friday, November 7, from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Executive Director Linda Dickerson Bell says the event is vital in supporting the organization’s mission of helping local families achieve affordable homeownership.

Among the many vendors participating this year is Ozark Viking Meadery. Owner Bo Von Rucker says mead offers a unique tasting experience.

The fundraiser will take place at the White Magnolia Reception Hall in Leadington. Tickets are $40 in advance or $50 at the door. For more information, call 573-760-1702.
