Highway Patrol Urges Caution as Winter Weather Hits Missouri Twice in One Week

Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) - Winter weather has struck Missouri for the second time in the last week, leading the Missouri State Highway Patrol to warn drivers about rapidly changing road conditions.

Sergeant Dallas Thompson encourages motorists to prepare before heading out and to exercise extreme caution during wintry weather.

Thompson advises residents to avoid travel unless absolutely necessary. He says that if drivers become stranded, they can call *55 from their cell phones for assistance from the Highway Patrol.
