Washington Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A Hillsboro woman is facing several felony drug charges after a traffic stop Tuesday allegedly uncovered fentanyl, methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia inside a vehicle.
According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Department, deputies conducted a traffic stop and identified a passenger as Sara N. Weber, who was reportedly wanted for arrest in multiple counties.
Authorities say a K9 unit performed an open-air sniff around the vehicle and alerted deputies to the possible presence of narcotics.
Court documents state deputies searched the vehicle and allegedly located 233 fentanyl capsules, three baggies of methamphetamine, two Buprenorphine Hydrocodone pills, three Tramadol Hydrocodone pills, a glass smoking pipe, a digital scale, and 15 syringes.
Investigators noted in the probable cause statement that both the digital scale and glass pipe contained residue that later field tested positive for methamphetamine.
Weber was arrested and charged with three counts of Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia - Prior Drug Offense, two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Delivery of a Controlled Substance, and First-Degree Drug Trafficking, Over Statutory Amount.
She is currently being held in the Washington County Jail on no bond.
