House Extensively Damaged by Fire on Dalton Street in Leadington

Leadington, Mo. (KFMO) - A home on Dalton Street in Leadington sustained extensive damage following a Wednesday afternoon fire.

According to Leadington Fire Chief Doug Graham, crews were dispatched just before 2 p.m. to a first-alarm structure fire. Firefighters from Leadington were assisted by the Park Hills and Desloge Fire Departments. 

Chief Graham says the fire caused extensive damage to the home, particularly in the living room, kitchen, and one bedroom. Crews worked to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading further throughout the structure.

No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined, and the Missouri State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating.
