Incident Closes Sargent Drive During Investigation

Madison Co., Mo. (KFMO) - Madison County Sheriff Nic Adams reports that an incident Tuesday morning, on Sargent Drive, has led to the closure of the roadway while authorities conduct their investigation.

The joint response included the Madison County Sheriff’s Office, Fredericktown Police Department, U.S. Marshals, and the Missouri State Highway Patrol. Sheriff Adams also thanked the Madison County Ambulance District and Fredericktown Fire Department for their assistance.

Officials confirm that all first responders and civilians are safe and accounted for. The suspect involved in the incident was flown out to receive a higher level of medical care. Sheriff Adams says the road will remain closed until investigators complete their work.
