Invisible Rebels to Host BBQ Fundraiser to Help Eliminate Student Lunch Debt

Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) - The Invisible Rebels will host a BBQ fundraiser on Saturday, July 25, at the Park Hills Farmers Market, with all proceeds benefiting student lunch balances in the Central R-III School District.

The fundraiser begins at 10:30 a.m. and will continue until sold out.

Meals are $15 each and include one meat choice, two sides, a cookie and a drink.

Guests can choose from three meat options:

• Pork steak
• Hamburger
• Hot dog

Each meal also includes a choice of two sides:

• Bag of chips
• Baked beans
• Potato salad
• Macaroni and cheese

Organizers say the fundraiser is part of the group's mission to eliminate student lunch debt so children can focus on learning instead of worrying about unpaid meal balances.

The event carries the message, "No child should go hungry," encouraging the community to support local students one meal at a time.

According to organizers, every dollar raised will go directly toward reducing school lunch balances for students in the Central R-III School District.
