Iron County Authorities Capture Murder Suspect

(Iron County, MO.) Murder suspect McCoy Tristain Kelley is in custody after a manhunt in the Parkland. Kelley, who is 21 years old, was taken into custody about 6 o'clock Wednesday evening and is being held in the Iron County jail without bond. Kelley was wanted in connection to the shooting death of 30 year old William Billy Shy. A press release from Iron County Sheriff, Roger Medley, showed Iron County Deputies were called to a residence in Vulcan, Missouri Tuesday morning about 1 o'clock over a shooting. When they arrived they found Shy dead. Witnesses stated William Shy was shot by McCoy Kelley when he opened the door. An autopsy is being performed. The investigation is being conducted by the Iron County Sheriff’s Office and the Missouri Highway Patrol. Murder 1st Degree and Armed Criminal Action charges have been placed against Kelley.
