Multiple units responded, along with mutual aid departments. Fire crews quickly initiated suppression and safety operations upon arrival.

Later that same day, at around 5:45 p.m., firefighters responded to a brush fire along State Highway U in the Irondale area. Crews conducted a size-up and began suppression efforts to contain and control the fire. The fire was handled efficiently, the scene was secured, and no injuries were reported.
