Ironton Library to Host Tribute to Veterans Program Ahead of Memorial Day

Ironton, Mo. (KFMO) - A special program honoring those who served is coming to the Ozark Regional Library in Ironton ahead of Memorial Day.

The Ironton Library will host a “Tribute to Veterans” program on Tuesday, May 19 at 6:00 p.m., offering the community an opportunity to learn, reflect, and connect with resources for those who have served in the military.

The program will be led by Ironton Library Branch Manager and veteran Stephanie Lebron. Attendees will hear about the history and significance of Memorial Day, as well as the important contributions made by veterans throughout the nation’s history.

In addition to the presentation, a Veteran Service Officer from the Missouri Veterans Commission will be present to answer questions and provide guidance on available services and benefits. The event aims to connect local veterans and their families with support resources both within the community and across the region.

Organizers say the program is open to the public and encourages anyone interested in learning more about veterans’ services or honoring military service members to attend.
