Ironton Man Arrested in St. Francois County on Multiple Charges

St. Francois Co., Mo. (KFMO) - An Ironton man is facing multiple charges following an arrest Thursday afternoon in St. Francois County.

According to an online arrest report, 30-year-old Alexander J. Helms was arrested at approximately 4:02 p.m. Helms was taken into custody by the Missouri State Highway Patrol. The arrest report lists several charges from multiple jurisdictions.

Charges include driving while revoked and a violation of a public park ordinance from Jefferson County; public intoxication from the Park Hills Police Department; and driving while intoxicated, open container, disorderly conduct, peace disturbance, and resisting arrest from the Ironton Police Department.

Helms is being held at the St. Francois County Jail.
