Jefferson Co., Mo. (KFMO) - The Jefferson County Rodeo is returning to Hillsboro for a two-night run June 12 and 13, 2026, at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds in Hillsboro. Organizers says the event is a full family weekend with rodeo competition, live music, children’s activities, specialty entertainment, and free parking with shuttle service.
Gates open at 5 p.m. each night and the rodeo begins at 7 p.m. Friday’s entertainment lineup includes Scotty Kemp performing on the patio from 6 to 9 p.m., followed by Southern Gypsi from 9:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. at RWZ. Saturday’s schedule adds children’s events from 5 to 7 p.m., a cowboy and cowgirl contest for ages 0–8 at 6 p.m., patio music from Better Class of Losers from 5 to 9 p.m., and Well Hungarians from 9:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. at RWZ.
Several featured attractions for Saturday, include specialty act Kole Minor, clown Tyler Pettigrew, a Fan of the Night Buckle sponsored by Chuck’s Boots, Party Paw’s Mobile Zoo, a mechanical bull, bull photo booth, kiddie corral and inflatables, and a Chuck’s Boots raffle.
President of the Jefferson County Fair Board Randy Starkey says it will be a lot of fun for the entire family.
Ticket prices are free admission for children 6 and under, children ages 7-15 for $5 in advance and $5 at the gate, adults 16 and older for $18 in advance and $20 at the gate, and free admission for active and retired military members with identification.
