L.I.F.E. Center Hosting 1st Annual Parkland Disability & Planning Expo at Mineral Area College

Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) - Families and caregivers of individuals with disabilities will have an opportunity to connect with important resources during a special event this weekend in Farmington.

The L.I.F.E. Center of Farmington is presenting the 1st Annual Parkland Disability & Planning Expo on Saturday, March 14, 2026.

Keynote speaker Janet Renshaw says the event is designed to help families who have loved ones with developmental or physical disabilities learn about services, support networks, and long-term planning resources.

Renshaw says events like this help bring valuable information directly to families who may not know where to start when looking for assistance.

Renshaw adds that the event is not limited to just Farmington residents. She says people from surrounding counties throughout the Parkland region are encouraged to attend and take advantage of the information and resources available.

The Parkland Disability & Planning Expo will feature vendors, information booths, and speakers focused on services available to individuals with disabilities and their families.

The event will be held Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Mineral Area College Industrial & Technology Building.
