Leadington Fire Department Conducting Training Exercises on Weir Street

Leadington, Mo. (KFMO) - The Leadington Fire Department will be conducting training exercises at an acquired structure on Weir Street, located next to City Hall, on Tuesday evenings over the next couple of months.

Residents in the area may notice smoke, sirens, and fire crews operating during these scheduled training sessions. Fire officials say the hands-on training is essential to keeping firefighters prepared to respond quickly and effectively to emergencies, helping protect lives and property throughout the community. The department emphasizes that this is a planned training event and asks the public not to call 911 if activity is observed at the site.
