Fredericktown, Mo. (KFMO) - Local author Lisa Grider is continuing her book tour with an upcoming signing event in Fredericktown.
Grider will be featuring her book Hobo’s Travels, a story inspired by a real-life stray cat that unexpectedly showed up at her home. According to Grider, the book follows Hobo’s journey and the various challenges the cat faced along the way.
She says the story focuses on the trials and tribulations Hobo experienced, while also delivering meaningful lessons for young readers. Grider hopes children who read the book will take away messages about resilience, compassion, and perseverance.
The community is invited to meet the author, hear more about the inspiration behind the book, and have copies signed during a special event at the Ozark Regional Library in Fredericktown.
The book signing and discussion will be held Thursday, May 21st, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
