Farmington, Mo. (KFMO) - Local author Lisa Grider will visit the Farmington Public Library on Saturday, December 6, 2025, for a special book signing and meet-and-greet event.
Grider will be on hand from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. to promote her book Hobo’s Travels, sharing insight into the story and its message with families and young readers.
Grider discussed what the book is about in a recent interview.
She says her hope is that children who read Hobo’s Travels will come away with a deeper understanding that everyone has value, and that differences should be embraced. Grider adds that she wants kids to feel loved and accepted, no matter what makes them unique.
