MAC Elks Donates to Food Pantries

Desloge, Mo. (KFMO) - The Mineral Area Community Elks Lodge has donated $3,000 to four food pantries in St. Francois County, offering support at a time when local demand for food assistance continues to rise.

Exhaulted Ruler Louie Seiberlich explains how the lodge was able to obtain this grant.

The donation was shared among the Elvins Pantry in Park Hills, St. Vincent de Paul pantries at Immaculate Conception Church in Park Hills and St. Joseph Church in Bonne Terre, and the House of Praise Pantry in Desloge. Together, the pantries serve an estimated 2,500 people each month.

This latest contribution follows a $1,000 donation recently made to Camp Hope.
