Mercy Mammography Van to Visit Farmington in December

Farmington, Mo. (KFMO) - Mercy’s mobile mammography van will make a stop in Farmington next month, offering convenient access to breast cancer screening for women in the region.

The van will be available Thursday, December 11, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Mercy Farmington, located at 555 West Pine Street.

Appointments are required and can be scheduled by calling 314-251-6300 and selecting option 0. Patients are asked to bring a photo ID and their insurance card. Screening costs are billed to insurance, and uninsured patients should inform the scheduler, as they may qualify for Mercy’s Free Mammogram Program.

Women 40 and older are eligible for mobile mammography, and it must be at least one year since their last screening. Those ages 35 to 39 should check with their insurance provider for coverage details. Patients must also be able to use steps and stand during the exam.

Mercy notes that the mobile unit is intended for routine screenings only. Individuals currently experiencing breast issues or with a history of breast cancer are advised to consult their healthcare provider for further evaluation.
