Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) - Mineral Area College is partnering with the American Red Cross to host a community blood drive Tuesday, April 14.
The drive will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the Innovation Bay at the MACTech Building on the Mineral Area College campus in Park Hills.
Billy Goldsmith, Recruitment and Student Life Specialist at the college, says donating blood plays a vital role in helping patients in need and supporting emergency medical care across the region.

Goldsmith adds the extended hours are designed to give more people the opportunity to donate, especially those who may not be available during typical business hours.
Community members are encouraged to attend, and walk-ins will be accepted throughout the day. More information can be found at redcrossblood.org.
