Mineral Area College Names Lynne Wisdom Vice President of Finance and Administration

Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) - Mineral Area College has named Lynne Wisdom, CPA, CPFO, as its new Vice President of Finance and Administration. Wisdom officially assumed the position on July 1 after serving as the college's Deputy Chief Financial Officer for the past 18 months.

Wisdom brings nine years of banking experience to the role and has a long history with the college. She joined Mineral Area College in 2006 as an adjunct instructor in the business department before becoming a full-time faculty member in 2008. During her career at the college, she has served in both academic and administrative leadership roles.

In her new position, Wisdom will oversee the college's financial and administrative planning, direct the daily operations of the business office, and work alongside the leadership team to support the institution's long-term financial stability and operational success.

Wisdom is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Public Finance Officer. She earned an Associate of Arts degree from Mineral Area College, a Bachelor of Science degree from Central Methodist University, and a Master of Business Administration from Webster University.

She is also active in the community, serving as treasurer of Bismarck First Baptist Church. A lifelong resident of the area, Wisdom was born and raised in Bismarck, where she lives with her husband, Landon, and their daughter, Paisley.
