Mineral Area College to Host Career and Tech Signing Day

Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) - Mineral Area College in Park Hills will celebrate future students during its annual Career and Technical Education Signing Day on Wednesday, April 15.

The event is scheduled from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the college’s Industry and Technology Center on the Park Hills campus.

The signing day recognizes students who plan to pursue career and technical education programs at MAC. Participants will take part in a ceremonial signing of a non-binding letter of intent to attend the college in the fall.

Students who participate will also receive a $500 Signing Day Scholarship.

College officials say the event is meant to celebrate students’ decisions to continue their education and prepare for careers in fields such as allied health and other technical programs. Family members and friends are invited to attend, and students will have the opportunity to take photos, meet faculty and staff, and get assistance with class registration and financial aid questions.

Attendees can also expect campus tours and MAC-themed giveaways as part of the celebration.
