Mobile Home Destroyed in Early-Morning Fire; No Injuries Reported

Ste. Genevieve Co., Mo. (KFMO) - Just after 12:30 a.m. Monday, firefighters from Ste. Genevieve County, were dispatched to the 12400 block of Village Drive for a reported residential structure fire.

Crews arrived to find a mobile home fully involved. Firefighters launched an aggressive attack to bring the blaze under control. A second alarm was issued, bringing additional manpower in. Despite the extent of the fire, no injuries were reported. The Missouri State Fire Marshal’s Office responded to investigate.

Officials say the fire is believed to be accidental, starting from a space heater.
