MoDOT Plans Bridge Replacements in Madison County

Madison Co., Mo. (KFMO) - The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) is planning to replace three bridges in Madison County with wider structures.

Two bridges on Route M, one over Shetley Creek and another over East Fork Big Creek, and one bridge on Route C over Leatherwood Creek near Jewett will be reconstructed.

Each roadway will close for about three months during construction, with Route M work potentially starting as early as December 2026. Route C work is expected to begin in summer 2027.
