MoDOT Plans Pothole Patching on Route 8 Near Potosi Next Week

Washington Co., Mo. (KFMO) - The Missouri Department of Transportation will conduct pothole patching work along Route 8 in Washington County from Monday, May 18 through Thursday, May 21.

According to MoDOT, the work zone will stretch from the Potosi city limits to Route C. During the maintenance project, one lane of traffic will remain open while crews flag vehicles through the area.

Motorists traveling through the work zone should expect possible slowdowns and are encouraged to reduce speed, stay alert for workers and equipment, and allow extra travel time.

The work is weather permitting and could be delayed or rescheduled if conditions change.
