Ste. Genevieve Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A 42-year-old man from Waterloo, Iowa suffered serious injuries in a motorcycle crash Tuesday afternoon on Interstate 55 in Ste. Genevieve County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 2:15 p.m. on April 28 along southbound I-55 at the 145 mile marker. The man was operating a 2021 Harley-Davidson Road King when the motorcycle overturned and began sliding along the highway.
The driver, who was wearing a safety device at the time of the crash, sustained serious injuries. He was transported by Ste. Genevieve County Ambulance to Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis for treatment.
The motorcycle was reported to have moderate damage and was removed from the scene by private conveyance.
