Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Washington County Crash

Washington Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A Wildwood man was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash Monday afternoon on southbound Missouri Route 21, north of Delbridge Road.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 12:05 p.m. when a 51-year-old man operating a 2009 Yamaha VStar failed to negotiate a left curve. The motorcycle traveled off the right side of the roadway and overturned. The rider, who was wearing a safety device, suffered serious injuries. He was transported by ambulance to Mercy Hospital South for treatment.

The motorcycle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.
