St. Francois Co., Mo. (KFMO) - Multiple people were injured in two separate traffic crashes that occurred within minutes of each other Monday afternoon along U.S. Highway 67 near Shannon Road in St. Francois County.
The first crash happened at approximately 4:24 p.m. at the intersection of U.S. 67 and Shannon Road.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2019 Honda Fit driven by a 58-year-old woman from Fenton was attempting to cross the southbound lanes of U.S. 67 when it failed to yield to a southbound 2014 Chevrolet Sonic driven by a 22-year-old man from Park Hills. Both vehicles were totaled and towed from the scene.
