North County Parkside Investigates Reported Threat; No Immediate Danger to Students or Staff

Desloge, Mo. (KFMO) - Parents and guardians of students at North County Parkside Elementary received a letter Friday informing them of a reported threat directed toward a group of students on the campus.

According to the letter from Parkside Administration, the report involved only the Parkside campus and did not include any other district buildings or facilities. School officials said an investigation is underway and will be concluded as soon as possible. Administrators emphasized there is no immediate threat to students or staff, and that all actions to resolve the issue are being handled swiftly and in accordance with district policy. Law enforcement has been contacted and is working closely with school officials to ensure safety across the campus.

The letter noted that the district takes all threats seriously and remains committed to maintaining a safe and secure learning environment for everyone.
