North County Primary Temporarily Locked Down After Threat Reported Near Campus

Bonne Terre, Mo. (KFMO) - North County Primary School was placed on a brief lockdown Friday afternoon following a potential threat reported near the campus. Officials say the lockdown began around 2:30 p.m. after local law enforcement notified the school administration.

Superintendent Dr. Brandon Gregory says all necessary safety protocols were immediately implemented.

Once law enforcement confirmed the area was safe, the school resumed normal operations and regular dismissal procedures.

Dr. Gregory expressed the district’s gratitude to law enforcement and school staff for their quick and professional response, ensuring the safety of students throughout the incident.
