Northern Ste. Genevieve County Home Destroyed in Two-Alarm Fire

Ste. Genevieve Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A home in northern Ste. Genevieve County was heavily damaged Saturday afternoon after a two-alarm fire.

Crews were called to the residence off Terry Lee Drive around 4:10 p.m. When firefighters arrived, the home was already heavily involved in flames, prompting incident command to call for a second alarm. Crews launched a defensive attack to keep the fire contained, eventually bringing it under control. No one was home at the time of the fire, and no injuries were reported.

The Missouri State Fire Marshal’s Office has been requested to investigate the cause.
