Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) - The City of Park Hills is advising residents, business owners, and commuters of a planned temporary road closure at one of the community’s busiest intersections.
Beginning Monday, June 23, 2025, the intersection of East Main Street and Flat River Drive, located at the traffic light near the city’s central business corridor, will be closed to all traffic.
The closure is expected to last approximately 4 to 6 weeks, depending on weather and construction progress. The purpose of the project is to complete critical repairs and improvements to the intersection that will result in safer and more efficient travel for motorists in the long term.
Road Closures Include:
- Flat River Drive between Congress Street and East Main Street
- East Main Street at its intersection with Flat River Drive
Detour Information:
- Westbound traffic will be redirected via Spruce Street to Congress Street, then west to Mitchell Street and back to East Main Street.
- Eastbound traffic should follow the reverse route to return to Business 67 or other destinations.
- Detour routes will be clearly marked with signage.
- The City encourages residents and travelers to plan their commutes accordingly, allow for extra travel time, and exercise caution in and around the construction zone.
