Park Hills Officials Report Early Vandalism to Columbia Park Christmas Display

Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) - Park Hills city officials are sounding the alarm after multiple strands of Christmas lights at Columbia Park were found cut as crews began setting up the annual holiday display.

The Park Hills Parks and Recreation Department says the damage is occurring before the full display is even installed, raising concerns as employees work for weeks to create the free attraction enjoyed by families across the community. The department stresses that early vandalism threatens a long-standing holiday tradition and is asking residents to stay alert when driving or walking near Columbia Park, particularly during evening hours.

Officials urge anyone who notices suspicious behavior to report it and remind residents to contact the Park Hills Police Department immediately if vandalism is observed.
