Farmington, Mo. (KFMO) - A ribbon cutting ceremony was held Wednesday to officially open the new Heart Health Center at Parkland Health Center in Farmington, marking a major expansion in local cardiac care services.
Hospital leaders say the new facility is designed to improve convenience and streamline care for patients by bringing multiple heart-related services together in one location.
President Annette Schnabel says the expansion is an important step forward for the hospital and the community.
She says Parkland is fortunate to be able to combine services into a single building, making it easier for patients to access the care they need without traveling between multiple locations.
Regional Practice Administrator Kim Robinson described the Heart Health Center as a “one-stop shop” for patients.
Robinson says the goal is to simplify the patient experience while expanding access to specialized heart care in the region.
The new Heart Health Center is located at 1151 Hazel Lane in Farmington and is now open to patients.
