Parkland Under Slight Risk for Severe Weather Saturday

Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) - The Storm Prediction Center has placed the Parkland under a slight risk for severe weather on Saturday.

While it’s still several days away, forecasters caution that conditions can change as the system develops and moves closer to the region. Meteorologists say this time of year often brings another round of strong storms as fall cold fronts clash with lingering warm, moist air. That combination can produce heavy rain, gusty winds, and even isolated severe storms.
