Perry County Sheriff’s Office Warns Residents About Possible Cable and Internet Scam

Perry Co., Mo. (KFMO) - The Perry County Sheriff’s Office is warning residents to use caution following several reports of a potential scam involving individuals offering to “lower” internet or cable bills.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, several concerning calls have been received regarding the activity in Perry County.

The individual reportedly approaches residents and offers to reduce their internet or cable bills. The person is described as driving a white passenger car with a dent on the front left fender and out-of-state license plates.

The Sheriff’s Office is urging residents not to provide personal information to anyone making unsolicited offers of this type.
