Perry, Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A Perryville man was seriously injured Monday afternoon in a motorcycle crash on U.S. 61 south of Route A in Perry County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 3:30 p.m. when a 2004 Harley-Davidson Dyna Wide Glide driven by a 66-year-old Perryville resident traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a sign. Troopers say the man, who was not wearing a helmet, sustained serious injuries and was flown by Air Evac to SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital.
The motorcycle was extensively damaged and towed from the scene.
