Poplar Bluff Man Injured in US 67 Crash Near Cherokee Pass

Madison Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A Poplar Bluff man was injured Sunday evening in a two-vehicle crash on U.S. 67 in Madison County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 5:45 p.m. on the southbound side of the highway at Cherokee Pass. Troopers say a 2018 Ram 1500 driven by a 39-year-old man from Poplar Bluff struck the rear of a 2003 Freightliner Cascadia.

The driver of the pickup suffered moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. He was wearing a seat belt. The driver of the Freightliner, a 49-year-old man from Guatemala, was not reported injured.

Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene
