Reynolds Co., Mo. (KFMO) - Authorities are continuing their investigation into a possible homicide in Reynolds County after a late-night call led deputies to a home on Highway B near Ellington.
According to the Reynolds County Sheriff’s Office, the report came in around 11:10 p.m. on Tuesday, November 11. About 20 minutes later, a deputy stopped a vehicle on Highway 106 and took a 46-year-old suspect into custody in connection with the incident.
Just after midnight, investigators with the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Drug and Crime Control Division (Troop I) arrived and assumed the lead role in the case. Officials say both the victim’s and suspect’s names are being withheld pending further investigation and family notification.
The Sheriff’s Office and Highway Patrol continue to work jointly, calling the case active and ongoing.
