Washington Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A Potosi man is facing possible charges after crashing his motorcycle and fleeing the scene in Washington County Saturday afternoon.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the incident happened at 4:40 p.m. on August 9 along northbound Missouri 185 at Route N. Troopers say a 1987 Kawasaki Ninja, driven by 34-year-old Potosi resident, crossed the center line, ran off the left side of the road, and overturned onto its left side. The driver and a 29-year-old passenger from Sullivan both fled on foot after the crash. The passenger, who suffered moderate injuries, was later taken to Mercy Hospital Washington by ambulance.
The motorcycle was totaled and towed from the scene.
