Potosi Police Arrest Man, File Charges In Juvenile Case

Potosi, Mo. (KFMO) - The Potosi Police Department says a Potosi man has been arrested and charged with multiple crimes involving a juvenile victim.

According to police, officers were contacted by the victim’s mother, who reported that Craig Rasnic had propositioned her son for oral sex. Authorities say an investigation was immediately launched into the allegations.

Police say that, stemming from the investigation, Rasnic has been charged with enticement or attempted enticement of a child, sexual trafficking of a child in the second degree, patronizing prostitution involving a child 15 years of age or younger, and attempted statutory sodomy in the second degree.

According to the Potosi Police Department, Rasnic has since been released on bond.
