Strong Storms Cause Damage in Doe Run and Fredericktown; Crews Respond to Widespread Calls

Doe Run, Mo. (KFMO) - Severe thunderstorms moved through the Parkland region on Sunday afternoon, impacting multiple communities including Doe Run and Fredericktown.

Firefighters were busy responding to numerous calls since the storms moved through earlier in the afternoon, with reports of downed trees and powerlines in both areas. Crews continue working to clear roadways and address hazards created by the storm.

In Fredericktown, officials also report that an outbuilding was destroyed during the severe weather. Despite the widespread damage across both communities, no injuries have been reported.
