Ironton, Mo. (KFMO) - The Arcadia Valley School District is assessing damage after a fire destroyed a preschool trailer Saturday morning.
District officials say the fire is believed to have been caused by an electrical issue, possibly involving a heater inside the building. The trailer is considered a total loss.
No injuries were reported.
School administrators say they are currently working on a plan to relocate preschool classrooms and make space for students for the remainder of the school year. More details on those arrangements will be shared as they become available.
The district also expressed appreciation for first responders who arrived quickly and worked through snowy and icy conditions to extinguish the fire.
