Ramp Closure on U.S. 67 to Southbound I-55 Begins Monday

Jefferson Co., Mo. (KFMO) - Drivers in the area should prepare for a temporary ramp closure at the U.S. Route 67 and I-55 interchange starting this week.

MoDOT officials say that beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, November 10, the ramp from northbound U.S. 67 to southbound I-55 will be closed. The closure is expected to remain in place through Friday, November 21. The shutdown allows crews to complete bridge painting on U.S. 61 just south of the interchange.

During the closure, northbound U.S. 67 traffic will be directed to use the roundabout located southeast of the interchange. Drivers will loop back to travel south on U.S. 67 and then take the loop ramp from southbound U.S. 67 to southbound I-55. Detour signs will be posted to guide motorists.

MoDOT encourages drivers to plan ahead and allow extra time, especially during peak travel hours.
