Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) - As summer winds down, the REEF in Park Hills is moving to a modified schedule this week, but there is still time for residents and visitors to enjoy the facility before it closes for the season.
City Administrator Zach Franklin says the REEF will offer a limited schedule from August 17 through August 21.
During that week, the Splash Pad will be open to the public from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., with free admission. The remainder of the water park will be closed as lifeguards return to fall sports and managers return to school.
City officials say all evening parties that have already been scheduled during the modified schedule will still be held as planned.
The entire REEF water park will reopen for one final weekend of summer fun on August 22 and 23. The facility will operate during its normal business hours for the final weekend.
Following normal business hours on Sunday, August 23, the REEF will close for the season.
The water park is scheduled to reopen in May 2027.
