Jefferson Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A Monday morning house fire in Jefferson County prompted a large emergency response, but no injuries were reported.
According to the DeSoto Rural Fire Protection District, crews were dispatched around 11:39 a.m. on December 1 to the 5800 block of State Road Y for a residential structure fire. The first arriving unit immediately began fire attack operations while additional crews conducted a primary search of the home. Extra handlines were deployed to assist with extinguishing the blaze. Firefighters brought the fire under control at approximately 12:32 p.m. Officials say no injuries occurred among the occupants or emergency personnel.
Multiple agencies responded, including De Soto Fire Department, Hillsboro Fire Protection District, St. Clair Fire Protection District, Valle Ambulance District, Big River Fire Protection District, Hematite Fire Protection District and the Jefferson R-7 Fire Protection District.
