Reynolds Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A Reynolds County man is facing multiple felony charges after an investigation into allegations of child sexual abuse dating back several years.
According to the Reynolds County Sheriff's Office, investigators were contacted by the Missouri Children's Division on June 4, 2026, regarding a hotline report involving allegations of child sexual abuse. Authorities say the report indicated that a juvenile disclosed ongoing sexual abuse by the suspect, with the alleged abuse occurring since 2018.
The Reynolds County Sheriff's Office immediately initiated an investigation into the allegations. Following the investigation, authorities established probable cause and submitted charges to the Reynolds County Prosecuting Attorney's Office for review.
As a result, Seth Beecher has been charged with three counts of Child Molestation in the First Degree.
After reviewing the case, prosecutors filed the charges and obtained a warrant through the Reynolds County Associate Court. The warrant was served on June 9, 2026, and Beecher was taken into custody without incident.
Beecher is currently being held pending court proceedings.
The Reynolds County Sheriff's Office noted that the investigation remains active and ongoing.
