Route DD in Ste. Genevieve County to Close March 23 for Culvert Replacement

Ste. Genevieve Co., Mo. (KFMO) - Drivers in Ste. Genevieve County should plan for a temporary road closure later this month as the Missouri Department of Transportation completes drainage work.

MoDOT crews will close a portion of Route DD between Gray Lane and Dry Fork Road so a culvert under the roadway can be replaced. The closure is scheduled for Monday, March 23, 2026 from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., weather permitting.

During the project, the affected section of Route DD will be closed to allow crews to safely remove and replace the culvert structure beneath the road.

MoDOT officials say the work zone will be clearly marked with signs. Motorists traveling in the area are encouraged to use caution and consider alternate routes during the closure.

Drivers are also reminded to slow down and watch for workers and equipment near the roadway.
