Route O in Ste. Genevieve County Reduced to One Lane for Road Improvements

Ste. Genevieve Co., Mo. (KFMO) - Motorists traveling on Route O in Ste. Genevieve County should expect traffic changes as road improvement work gets underway.

The roadway will be reduced to one lane and will have a 10-foot width restriction while contractor crews overlay the roadway, including the shoulder, and complete guardrail upgrades. The work zone is located on Route O between U.S. Route 61 and Route 32. Weather permitting, the project is scheduled to take place Monday, February 23 through Friday, May 1. Crews will be working daily from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The work zone will be clearly marked with signs. Drivers are urged to use extreme caution when traveling through the area and to watch for crews, equipment, and changing traffic conditions.
