Scheduled Power Outage Planned in Farmington Thursday

Farmington, Mo. (KFMO) - Residents and businesses in the area between Karsch Boulevard, College Street, and Veterans Drive in Farmington should prepare for a temporary power outage this week.

The City of Farmington Electric Department has announced that electricity will be shut off beginning at 8 a.m. on Thursday, November 13, to allow crews to complete essential system upgrades. Power is expected to be restored by around noon the same day. City officials say the upgrades are part of ongoing efforts to maintain and improve local electric service.
